Blogspot??? EEK!

This is a first for me! I don't know if I have what it takes to keep up a blog, but whilst looking into how to set up a website ... I think I'll give this a go for now, lol!

So, why the blog?? Good question! I've developed an interest in taking pictures. I've lucked out entirely, and have in a sense, had a dream come true. Since I've had kids (two lovely children now) I've wanted to find that glorious "work-at-home" job ... that would enable me to spend the majority of my time with my family ... while somehow figuring out something I could do from home - and make a bit of money. I'm a registered nurse by trade ... and I LOVE my job ... but as I said, I want to be able to spend as much time with our kids as possible. Picture taking presented itself ... that's the only way I can explain it. Six weeks into my pregnancy with Tatum, I became a member of an internet message board ... with woman all over the world. They are amazing individuals. As you can imagine among hundreds of women ... many talents exist. Many are keen photographers ... and I admired their work. When I was pregnant with Brock, I had maternity pictures done (with Tatum). I was so impressed with them, and the girl that did them. She worked with natural light, and out of her garage (though she can go anywhere). I figured, if she could do it ... anyone could give it a try! So, here I am ... and this is why the blog ... to share. I hope you enjoy looking, as much as I enjoy sharing!
