You honestly can't even begin to imagine how excited I am to have met a new photographer friend! And guess what?! She lives in the same town as me!!! When I was having my little mental melt down (... still semi-in-progress) and I posted about needing to take a break ... I noticed the sweetest comment left by Kyla regarding that post. I was thinking ... "just who are you?" ... and then I went on a blogger stalking mission (side note: I can't ever figure out if I'm spelling "stalking" right ... "stalking" vs. "stocking" ... anyhoo ... carrying on...). I was so excited, and impressed with her talent. I had actually spoke with Kyla a year or two ago ... her and her sister had a booth at a trade fair making all kinds of things ... the baby bedding is what caught my eye ... and will be taking another look in the near future. I also believe (but we haven't talked about it yet) that she is an amazing cake maker (again ... wording.)
So I was walking around town, waiting to run into this person, and trying to figure out who she was, or how I'd even know if I saw her ... when she stopped me on the fair grounds at Cornfest a few weeks ago, she recognized Brock from my blog :) We talked for a few minutes, and parted company ... and no sooner did cute little Brock throw a massively cute little temper tantrum *insert eye roll here please*.
We've exchanged several emails, and I can't wait until we can hook up and talk shop. So at the risk of nobody calling me ever again for my photography skills (or lack thereof sometimes), I posted one of my favorite images from Kyla's blog. So, go ahead and blog-stalk her .... er, go take a look at her amazing talent ... and for your viewing ease ... I've added her to my "photographer friend" list yeehaw!!!

oh - you are way too good. you are officially my new favorite person. I prefer to write 'stock', because it is like chicken stock and I have a thing for purposely mispelling things. Probably because it drives my sis CRAZY.
LOL! This morning my sister was looking at your blog, and she saw how you wrote stock ... it was funny ... I was honestly confused last night, couldn't have possibly been b/c I was up so late ;)
I to love Kyla! I alos love this image that you borrowed from her blog. But that is probly because he is my son. It is my favorite picture!! I think that you have a great talent. Your pictures are really good and real. I love them!!
Thank you!! I think you have one of the most adorable little boys I have ever seen ... his hair, his eyes ... he's a knock-out!!
