The Terrific Two's!!

I honestly think so much of the two-year-old stage truly is terrific. They learn and grow at such an incredible pace. And everything about them is full of so much passion ... they REALLY love you, they REALLY want to kiss you (have you had the nose-smooshing-kiss-because-I-love-you-soooo-much-I-can't-help-myself kiss?), they can be REALLY loud, and the tantrums can be REALLY mighty!! And they're still small enough that you catch yourself calling them a baby still? And their feet are still completely kissable?? I love it ... (minus the tantrums, I could surely do without them) ... I have a two year old ... and he amazes me each and every day. This baby boy just turned two, and he is one of the most smiley guys I know (remember guy smiley from Sesame Street? I don't remember that muppet face smiling ... was he the game show host?) ... ahem ... right, this is about the birthday boy, who had a party today, and I got to go :)

This post is going to be a long-y ... because his sister is just as amazing. She had (read: HAD) long beautiful blonde hair last week. Last week she decided she should do something with it whilst paper cutters (p.a.p.e.r. c.u.t.t.e.r.s. -- not hair cutters ;) in hand. Her mom - who is just as amazing as the kids - decided to do something wonderful ... and she booked a hair appointment for the little princess. Along with the booking of the appointment, she rallied her friends to donate money (or hair) to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program. The program takes hair donations to help people living with cancer find wigs and other types of headwear when they lose their hair as a result of cancer treatment.
