Icing On My Cake...

... is what I always say about baby Sophie. She is the perfect fit for our family, and an amazing addition to which we are greatful for each and every day. Although I'm sure the few who have watched her for me may disagree to some extent (she's got the 'little-rip-gene') she is a perfectly laid back, and I'd like to think content babe. She happily chuggs along wherever it is you want to take her. That being said - crowds are a weak point right now, so I'm working my spin on desensitization therapy with her, and I'm seeing small successes ;-)

She'll be five months old in another week or so. Already. She has the perfect amount of chubb, tolerance, patience, and snuggles. She's recently found her outward giggles, which very nearly almost brings me to my knees. She adores Tatum, and is getting the courage to brave the waters of Brock ... who very much adores her. She carries on very elaborate conversations with Rod, and when she smiles at him, he can not help but start laughing that 'bubble-in-my-chest-about-to-burst-because-I'm-such-a-proud-papa' laugh. And she sleeps. All night. Unheard of in our family.

I'm off for the day - I'm going to shut the computer down, pick up the phone and call my sister to see when she can come for coffee. There is no better way to enjoy my day, than surrounded by the chaos of my kids, playing with their cousins, while I get to visit with someone very special to me. Happy Sunday :-)
