A Half-Decade Tall

She was a girl of few words, when spoken to by yours truly. When the camera graced our conversations, she grew even quieter. When gently spoken to by her mom, she'd perk up a wee bit, then settle back down into quiet-land. Things changed when we (read: I) decided to break into the chicken walk. Yep. You read it right. I flapped my wings, cocked my neck, strutted my stuff, and HOLLERED my loudest "buck, buck, buck, bu-cccaaaaawwwwwwww!". I'll stop at nothing.

In all her five-year-old-glory, into the wilderness we did go. The day was beautiful, but evening brought some of the all too familiar cool air, which hastened her decision not to wear grandma's new birthday dress (not her grandma's dress, but the dress her grandma bought for her). A beautiful girl, with a beautiful smile, even if she was a little stingy with it ;-)

Angie, I LOVE the 'Apple' shot, the 'Book' shot and the last shot posted! Did you have any luck with getting the 'old house/rocking chair' one. That one looked so cool from my view! Great work once again!!

I think these are my favorite pics you've taken thus far!!! Amazing....I love the sun flare. I wish I could see you bust a move doing the chicken dance! Very entertaining I'm sure!

Thanks TJ!

I love that you clarified Grandma's dress. ;) She's a cutie, and I'm quite sure your chicken dance was to die for.
