I arrived the next morning, excited (and thankful!) because it was cloudy! That darn pivot did exactly what it was supposed to do, and in doing so, mucked with our plans (as Rod said it would ;) to use that portion of the field as our backdrop. No problem, really, because grandma and grandpa lived only a hop, skip, and a jump away - so that's where we headed - and it was awesome! The sun reared it's big beautiful brightness after all, which was good - because the mosquitos decided to hunker down and leave me alone after that :)

Meet The Carvers
They wanted to do an early morning session behind their house in the beautiful barley field. So for kicks, the fam and I headed out to their house the morning before our session (Tim Horton's in hand!) to check out how the sun would fall at that time of day. I pulled up - decided I would spend my evening praying for cloud :) And then there was that pivot, ever so slowly chugging away ...
